Not all kibble is the same, therefore not all kibble is “bad.” I hear this generalization regularly, and there isn’t any truth to it. Kibble is a massively diverse type of pet food and no 2 kibble diets are the same, for this reason to claim that kibble as a whole is bad is simply not possible. Just like any type of food, there is a spectrum.

Some factors that affect the quality of a kibble diet:

  • Manufacturing processes
  • Raw ingredients and how the ingredients work together
  • Formulas used and who formulated the diet
  • Evidence based and scientific research
